Wesley Dining Table

Wesley Dining Table

Good design and creative joinery makes this a table enhances your space

Furniture shouldn’t dominate the space — it should enhance it. The thoughtful joinery allows this table to do just that.

The hybrid leg joint adds visual interest with no compromise on strength. The mitred apron is matched for colour and grain which makes this a visually simple table.

Nothing is missing — it’s just enough.

It’s softened, rounded corners makes this kind on young heads and makes access around the table just that little bit easier.

The Wesley Dining Table comes in three standard sizes, three timber options and can be shipped assembled or in two pieces if access is tight.

Available in our three standard finishes: Natural Walnut, Bleached Maple, Natural White Oak.

Lead time is eight weeks.

  • Laying out the grain pattern on the legs of the Wesley Dining Table

The grain on the legs and apron is critical to the success of this piece. We spend a lot of time looking at timber to select for grain and colour to make this a cohesive piece that is balanced.

  • Concept sketch of the Wesley Dining Table

The Wesley Dining Table started with the leg detail. Once we had that all design decisions were in service to that detail. The result is a table that shows restraint and celebrates its setting.

  • Work in progess of the joinery in the Wesley Dining Table

The joinery that connects the leg to the apron required a lot of thought. Combining the strength of a mortise and tenon and the visibility of a bridle joint, this as strong as it is fine.

Questions

Will it fit in my space?

Generally speaking 900mm of clear space around a dining table is a good thing to have. The Wesley Dining Table comes in two standard sizes:

  • 6 seater (1800 x 1000mm) / total footprint: 3600 x 2800mm
  • 8 seater (2400 x 1100mm) / total footprint: 4200 x 2900mm
  • 10 seater (3000 x 1200mm) / total footprint: 4800 x 3000mm.

Will it fit through my door?

It should go through the front door without any issues. The top can be detached from the frame if necessary. The length of the legs is 700mm which will fit through most doors. The length of the top might be an issue in tighter spaces if it's going around a corner. If you have any doubts get in touch.

Is it difficult to install?

If the access to your space is sufficient the table will be shipped in one piece. If access is too tight the table will be shipped with the top detached from the frame.

To assemble it you will need a screw driver and someone to help you.
